In a collaboration with science communicator and artist, Eric Parrish, we designed a comic as part of the “Life in the Critical Zone” series featuring PhD students in the field. As my sister commented when she found out I was being featured in a comic: “It’s so perfect, you already ARE a cartoon character!” I agree Leah, it’s quite fitting. I should clarify that I only pretend to be a field scientist, but one can imagine. Please enjoy!
